In a shaker filled with ice, add vodka, espresso, coffee liqueur, and salted caramel sauce. Shake hard for 15–20 seconds until well chilled and frothy.

Strain & Serve
Double strain into your prepared glass. That smooth foam on top is exactly what you’re looking for.

Homemade Salted Caramel Sauce (Quick Version)

½ cup sugar
3 tbsp butter
¼ cup heavy cream
½ tsp flaky sea salt

Heat sugar over medium until melted and amber. Whisk in butter, then cream (careful — it will bubble). Remove from heat and stir in salt. Cool slightly before using.

Note: Making caramel from scratch can be tricky the first time, but take it slow and you’ll be rewarded.

Pro Tips

  • Fresh espresso makes a big difference — smoother flavor and better foam.

  • Shake longer than you think; the texture matters.

  • Great holiday recipe. Make a jar and use for Lattes, dessert toppings, and cocktails.

  • Use less salt than is photographed lol
